Web venture

I decided to do a spooky, american horror story vibe for my story, because I have wanted to do that as a theme for a project since the start of the semester. I used primarily black and white images with pops of color to create a more cohesive story and theme. I also decided to make gifs a primary focus for this project, because I wanted to improve my skills.

My first gif that I made in the selfie project took me over an hour and I struggled to understand the process. These gifs took me a lot less time with each one I created. I'm actually really proud of them and excited to have created these! This project was my favorite from this class! I felt that it gave me more free reign to be creative and truly run wild with it.

I have always been inspired by old television shows and also the Wizard of Oz. The Wizard of Oz was a true inspiration for this project, as I took pointers from the beginning being black and white, and later on moving towards the bright pop of change to color. Overall, I used photoshop for almost everything, which led me to feel even more comfortable and creative with it. I hope to work with photoshop more in the future and keep growing!
